ZERO POINT IN TIME
Göbekli Tepe is the oldest temple in the world. The historical context made this project one of my most interesting installations to date. This project was realised during my time at Tamschick Media & Space in Berlin. I was Lead Art Director throughout the whole project from the concept phase through to shooting live action, post production and the implementation at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, 2016. Our task was to give the visitors an abstract and artistic impression of what civilisation could have been like at this location during 10th – 8th millennium BCE. The visitors should feel as if they were inside a visual spectacle and be part of the immersive 360° projection. I developed several concepts for the room and the final projection canvas which was made of gauze. In a team with three other motion artists, we animated eight minutes of content and created a synchronised backdrop film for the final one–off live performance in an aspect of 16.200 x 1200 px.
